Von Neumann was a genius, perhaps even rivaling Einstein. He was fascinated by theories of probability and games of chance (Ironically he was not a very good gambler). Contrary to popular belief, von Neumann did not invent the Prisoner's Dilemma, that did not come for several years after Morgenstern and von Neumann's 'Theory of Games and Economic Behavior' was published.

\nI must admit that after several attempts to get through 'Theory of Games' the math-chapters are a bit much for me.
